Hiking
Whether you are looking for a challenging 14'er to climb or a stroll through the woods, the Vail Valley has a trek for you. Take a deep breath and feel the fresh mountain air rejuvenate your soul. Golf
The Vail Valley is home to 4 public golf courses. The Vail Golf Course (closest to Manor Vail Lodge, 1 mile east) has been offering guests the chance to play golf at 8,200 feet in elevation for over 40 years. Eagle Ranch Golf Course is an Arnold Palmer Signature Design and will challenge any golfer with its five sets of tees, ranging from 5,400 yards to 7,500 yards. Cotton Ranch Club in Gypsum and the Eagle-Vail Golf Club in Eagle-Vail are also available to the general public. To the west Sonnenalp Golf Club is semi private offering select tee times.

Biking
On the road or the mountain, Vail is a biking paradise. The Vail Valley is host to a number of world-class road and mountain biking races throughout the summer season. The Triple By Pass is a road ride from Evergreen to Vail over Squaw (11,140), Loveland (11,990), and Vail (10,560) passes, for a total of 120 miles and more than 10,000 feet of lung-busting gain in elevation! Cultural Events
Vail summers provide some of the finest entertainment in the mountains. Gerald Ford Amphitheater, just a short stroll from Manor Vail Lodge, is host to the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival, Hot Summer Nights free concert series and the International Dance Festival. Other cultural opportunities include: numerous art galleries located in Vail and Beaver Creek, the Vail Jazz Festival, Vail Wine Festival, Oktoberfest, Vail Arts Festival, Beaver Creek Rodeo and a variety of events and performances at the Vilar Center for the Arts.
